Casa Nautika’s Awareness Gems

Thank you for respecting Casa Nautika’s Awareness Gems. These guidelines help all who share this space to reach their highest frequency and get the most out of their stay. The greatest teacher here is silence, which enables a deeper connection with ourselves, the resonance of the natural world, and its music. Due to the proximity of spaces, please be mindful at all times, as even small sounds can disrupt the flow for others.

The guidelines below are especially useful outside of group practices, ceremonies, and other collective activities.

Silence

  • Quiet hours: 8:00 pm to 8:00 am. Whispering or using low voices is strongly encouraged.

  • When using the temple space, walk softly on your toes or the ball of your foot to avoid vibrations that disrupt the space.

  • Close doors gently and quietly. Turn the handle as you close the door and release it only when fully shut.

  • Music is a beautiful expression, but sound travels here. If you wish to play music, please use the temple space at a very low volume, while being mindful of the quiet hours. Thank you for sharing your gifts.

We will also share periods of silence at other times, as determined by the needs of the group and individuals (e.g., after ceremonies, during rest, or healing sessions).

Cleanliness An impeccably clean environment fosters a Zen-like flow. This is your home during your stay—please keep all common areas free of personal items not currently in use. Respect altar spaces, sacred objects, and return all shared resources (e.g., dishes, yoga supplies) to their proper place after use.

Ask yourself: “What looks out of place? What can I do to enhance the flow of energy?”

Examples:

  • Bring up an empty mug from the temple, even if it’s not yours.

  • Sweep the yoga deck.

  • Wash and dry dishes after use.
